You don’t have to struggle with depression

It’s normal to feel sad and upset on occasion but persistent and intense feelings of sadness, hopelessness and low self-worth that impair your ability to function can be hugely detrimental to your mental, physical and emotional health.

If this feels like you then there’s no need suffer in silence. You’ve already overcome your biggest hurdle by acknowledging things are not right and by being here.

Can Counselling provide an instant fix?

Counselling can’t provide an instant fix (nothing can!) but it does provide a safe and supportive space where you can learn to untangle those negative feelings and begin the process of thinking & feeling better about yourself.

How can Counselling help me?

My way of working ALWAYS reflects ultimately on your Relationship with You. We work together at your pace to embrace a more authentic, freer, self-trusting and compassionate reality of who you REALLY are.

I incorporate mindfulness with clients who are open to it and work from a ‘spiritual’ (not religious) stance using my instincts as well as learned schools of thought and I’m not adverse to employing a bit of humour (where appropriate) which some clients report helps them feel more at ease.

What can I expect from my first Counselling session?

The initial consultation provides you with the opportunity to share your current situation and concerns. To vent randomly if that is how you feel. A space to identify what you want to gain from therapy, ask any questions and for us to determine whether we may be a good match moving forward. It’s vital you choose a therapist who feels right for YOU.

What do I do next?

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, so start the process and give me a call.
